Arrange follow-up after birth
If your baby is born at Rose Medical Center, tell the hospital team you are choosing Sapphire and confirm the current process. If your baby is born elsewhere, call before discharge or as soon as possible afterward. Newborn follow-up is usually needed within a few days of birth or shortly after discharge; the hospital team and pediatrician will guide the exact timing.
Bring what you have
Bring hospital discharge paperwork, available newborn-screening information, an insurance card, parent or guardian photo identification, and your feeding or health questions. Do not delay a medically needed visit while waiting for perfect records.
