Care & Services / Pediatric Sports Medicine
Dr. Katherine Dahab completed a primary-care sports-medicine fellowship and evaluates many common injuries and concussion concerns in the office, keeping the physical and developmental needs of children and teens in view.

Care built around your child
Young athletes are still growing. Their bones, joints, strength, training load, school demands, sleep, and emotional health all affect recovery and performance. Dr. Dahab’s pediatric and sports-medicine training supports in-office evaluation of many common injuries, overuse concerns, activity-related pain, and possible concussions.
Families may also seek help with difficulty returning after an injury or questions about safe participation. A visit may include a detailed history, focused examination, and a plan for treatment, activity modification, follow-up, imaging, or referral when needed.
How this care can help
Clarify what may be contributing to pain, limited function, or changed movement.
Consider growth, training load, recovery, and repetitive activity together.
Evaluate symptoms and organize safe school, activity, and follow-up guidance.
Build an individualized progression when the examination and recovery support it.

A clear next step
A sports physical screens for safe participation. A sports medicine visit evaluates a specific injury, symptom, performance limitation, or return-to-play question. Tell the scheduling team about active symptoms so the right amount of time can be reserved.
