Our commitment
Sapphire Pediatrics is committed to providing a website that is usable by people with disabilities. We work to improve access to information, navigation, forms, documents, images, video, and interactive features and to support effective communication with patients and families.
Our current design and content target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 Level AA as a practical benchmark. This statement describes an ongoing effort and is not a promise that every page, document, linked service, or third-party feature will be error-free or fully conformant at all times.
Measures we take
Our accessibility work includes:
- Using semantic headings, landmarks, labels, and keyboard-accessible controls.
- Providing meaningful alternative text for informative images.
- Providing captions or equivalent information for prerecorded video with meaningful audio.
- Supporting text resizing, reflow, visible focus, and sufficient color contrast.
- Avoiding content that flashes in a way known to create seizure risk.
- Testing representative pages with automated checks, keyboard navigation, and assistive technology.
- Reviewing new templates and significant updates before release.
- Guiding content editors to use accessible headings, link text, images, tables, and documents.
Third-party content
The website links to or presents services operated by third parties, including MyChart, payment services, maps, videos, forms, and health resources. Sapphire does not control the accessibility of every third-party service. If you encounter a barrier, tell us. When feasible, we will help identify another way to obtain the information or service.
Request help or report a barrier
If you have difficulty using the website or need information in another format, contact the practice:
