Care & Services / Lactation & Feeding Support
Feeding is both nutrition and a relationship. We help families evaluate feeding, growth, comfort, and practical next steps for breastfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding, formula feeding, or a combination.
Care built around your child
Early feeding can bring questions about latch, milk transfer, supply, pumping, bottle use, formula, weight gain, pain, spit-up, or how to combine feeding methods. Support begins with the baby’s health and growth, the caregiver’s health and goals, and what is sustainable for the family.
Routine feeding support is available during pediatric visits, and dedicated lactation appointments may be scheduled. Confirm clinician availability and the appropriate appointment type when scheduling.
How this care can help
Review frequency, duration, cues, comfort, equipment, and family goals.
Connect weight and growth with what happens during and after feeds.

Discuss breastfeeding, pumping, bottles, formula, or a combined plan without judgment.
Identify what to watch, when to return, and whether another evaluation may help.
A clear next step
Call promptly for difficulty waking to feed, repeated forceful or green vomiting, breathing or color changes during feeds, signs of dehydration, worsening jaundice, fever in a young infant, or concern that a baby is not getting enough to eat. Emergency symptoms require emergency care.
