New Patients / Vaccine Policy

Prevention is part of the pediatric relationship

Review Sapphire’s evidence-based approach to childhood and adolescent immunization.

Sapphire Pediatrics supports evidence-based childhood and adolescent immunization and expects families to discuss vaccine questions directly with a clinician. The practice uses current pediatric recommendations, catch-up guidance, and individualized clinical judgment.

Families should bring all available vaccine records. The care team will review prior doses, current recommendations, contraindications and precautions, and questions. A delayed series often can continue without restarting, but the next step must be based on the current catch-up schedule and the individual child.

National recommendations may change, and professional organizations may publish differing schedules. Sapphire’s physicians will determine the practice policy used for patient care. The website does not establish an enrollment, dismissal, or exemption rule beyond a policy the practice has expressly adopted.
