These Terms of Use govern access to the Sapphire Pediatrics public website. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
These terms apply only to the public website. Medical services, MyChart, billing, insurance, forms, employment, and third-party services may have additional terms and policies.
Educational and administrative use only
Website content is provided for general education and administrative convenience. It is not a diagnosis, treatment plan, prescription, emergency service, or substitute for care from a qualified health professional who has evaluated the patient.
Do not use the website, general email, or ordinary MyChart messaging for an emergency. Call 911 for a life-threatening emergency. Call 720-941-1778 for time-sensitive guidance and follow current after-hours instructions when the office is closed.
Using the website, reading content, sending an inquiry, downloading a form, or following a link does not create a clinician-patient relationship, establish that Sapphire has accepted a patient, or guarantee an appointment, service, prescription, referral, form signature, insurance benefit, or outcome.
No medical advice through general website communication
Do not submit symptoms, photographs, medical records, insurance details, Social Security numbers, payment-card information, or other sensitive patient information through a general website field or administrative email. Use MyChart or another secure method approved by Sapphire.
Sapphire may choose not to respond to a general inquiry that requests medical advice or contains information that should be handled through a secure or urgent channel.
Accuracy and changing information
We work to keep content useful and current, but pediatric guidance, services, staffing, office hours, insurance participation, forms, external resources, and laws can change. The website may contain errors or content that becomes outdated. Verify time-sensitive information directly with the office or the authoritative source.
No website statement guarantees that a particular clinician, service, appointment, product, form, referral, or insurance arrangement is available.
Permitted use
You may use the website for lawful, personal, noncommercial purposes and may print or download forms and educational pages for their intended use. You may not:
- Interfere with website security, operation, or another person’s use.
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
- Introduce malware, automate abusive requests, scrape at a harmful rate, or evade access controls.
- Misrepresent identity or authority.
- Use content in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.
- Remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or proprietary notices.

Intellectual property

The website links to services operated by Children’s Hospital Colorado, government agencies, professional organizations, form hosts, social networks, and others. Links are provided for convenience and context. We do not control and do not guarantee third-party content, privacy, security, accessibility, availability, or performance. A link does not necessarily mean endorsement.
Your use of a third-party service is governed by that service’s terms and policies. Contact the third party for problems within its system, and contact Sapphire when a barrier prevents access to Sapphire information or care.
Forms and downloads
Forms may be revised, replaced, or require clinician review. Downloading a form does not mean it is complete, current for a particular school or organization, or ready for signature. Complete required sections and allow processing time. Sapphire may require a current examination, records, consent, fee, or additional information before completing a form.
Privacy
The Website Privacy Policy explains public-site data practices. The Notice of Privacy Practices explains how the medical practice uses and discloses protected health information. Those documents are incorporated by reference to the extent applicable.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, complete, current, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits a legal duty or warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sapphire and its owners, clinicians, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the public website, reliance on general content, or use of a third-party link.
This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law and does not waive liability that cannot legally be limited. These website terms do not alter rights or duties arising from actual medical care.
Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of Colorado, without overriding mandatory consumer, privacy, civil-rights, health, or other protections.
Changes and termination
We may change the website or these terms. Updated terms will be posted with a new effective date. We may limit or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the website, users, or legal rights.
