Care & Services / Well-Child Care
Regular checkups give your family time to track growth, development, learning, emotional health, safety, and prevention—not only the concerns that appear when a child is sick.

Care built around your child
Well-child care is the foundation of a strong relationship between your family and your pediatrician. These visits create space to understand how your child is growing physically, socially, emotionally, and developmentally. They also help identify concerns early and make a plan together.
A visit may include a complete physical examination, growth measurements, age-appropriate developmental and behavioral screening, vision or hearing screening when indicated, review of nutrition and sleep, safety guidance, and recommended immunizations. The exact visit changes with your child’s age, health history, and needs.

A clear next step
Bring an updated medication list, relevant school or camp forms, and your top questions. If another clinician has recently evaluated your child, make sure those records are available in advance. Tell us about changes at home, school, or child care that may affect health or behavior.

Often, yes. Bring the required form and complete the parent section before the appointment. Some forms or concerns may require a separate evaluation.
Tell the team when scheduling and at check-in. A significant new illness may require a separate sick visit so there is enough time to care for both needs appropriately.
